Membership of the Glen Forrest Community Garden Inc. is open to all who support the aims of our association which are:

– TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY GARDEN IN GLEN FORREST

– TO FOSTER AND ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL FOOD PRODUCTION

– TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL EVENTS IN AREAS RELATED TO GARDENING AND FOOD PRODUCTION SUCH AS PLANTING, COMPOSTING, WORM FARMING AND SEED SAVING

– TO STIMULATE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION AND ENGAGEMENT IN THESE AND OTHER CULTURAL EVENTS TO HELP INCREASE GENERAL COMMUNITY HEALTH, WELL-BEING, INTERCONNECTEDNESS AND RESILIENCE

Annual membership fees are $20.00 for adults ($15 unwaged) or $40.00 per family payable from January.

If you would like to become a member please download the Glen Forrest Community Membership Form, complete and sign the first part and bring it along to a garden gathering or scan and email it to gfcommunitygarden@gmail.com

Fees can be paid directly to a committee member or by direct debit or online transfer to Glen Forrest Community Garden Inc. at BSB 633-000 Acct 149 323 529. (Please include your name in the comments field so we know who it is who has paid).

We are also very keen to accept donations to help cover our running costs and future development.
